Dr. Azar Dastgah is a board-certified podiatric surgical specialist. Previously the recipient of the prestigious Department of Defense National Science Scholarship and a former up-and-comer in the Bay Area Biotechology sector, Dr. Dastgah ultimately switched her career focus to podiatry due personal experience with the wonders of podiatric medicine. Dr. Dastgah graduated from California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University before completing a comprehensive, three-year surgical residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco. During her training, she gained extensive expertise in the areas of foot & ankle trauma, sports medicine, and wound care. Dr. Dastgah’s interests include elective surgery, foot and ankle trauma, sports injuries, and wound care. Dr. Dastgah encourages her patients to be proactive in their recovery, emphasizing education and exercise as important adjuncts to overall care.
